(Paramount, 1982) This incredible space suit was custom-made by the production for use in "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" and re-used in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan". The costume consists of a brown, orange and white jumpsuit, a pair of matching gloves and the iconic back and chest space pack. The jumpsuit features ribbed detailing at the knees, elbows, chest and waist and has rubber and plastic components attached to the arms, gloves and legs and has no name written inside. The gloves have "Morga" written in marker on the inside. The back/chest space pack has "Kirk" written on the inside and was one of the two made for the first film for use by William Shatner as "Captain Kirk" and re-painted and fitted with the special handle at the neck for use presumably by Paul Winfield as "Terrell" in "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan". The space pack is fitted with a harness and internal wiring that is untested. The connecting brackets are missing and the pack has wear from use and storage, but remains in very good condition.
