(TriStar Pictures, 1997) This hero, live firing rifle, documented as having been used by "Johnny Rico", played by Casper Van Dien, is the only known rifle from the production to contain its serialized original Ruger Mini 14 rifle which is tied to its particular numbered fiberglass Morita shell set. It remains in its original, firing, completely working order and is still covered in the orange bug guts from the Tanker Bug scene in which Rico blasts a hole in the back of the tanker bug, drops in a grenade and gets thrown off. Rico takes cover behind a dead warrior bug and is subsequently covered in the Tanker's innards. The screen matched rifle and sling, identified by Casper Van Dien himself is one of a kind. The two perfectly matched shell halves are in amazing condition and the fully equipped rifle retained all of its original hardware and is accompanied by two working ammo magazines from on set use. Additional parts and hardware accompanied the rifle in case the high bidder does not want to display the piece with the rifle still inside. The rifle measures 41" x 12" x 3" and is presented in a custom plexiglass case for display. Display case measures 48" x 14" x 6".
